When a colleague sends you a promising referral, the first question is always the same—does this person actually fit the role as well as their advocate believes? Jobref removes the guesswork by providing comprehensive candidate evaluation tools that ensure every referral receives the same objective, data-driven assessment.

What is the Matching Score?

Our intelligent matching system analyzes three core components:

  1. Job description requirements and key qualifications

  2. Candidate CV including experience, skills, and career progression

Based on this comprehensive analysis, each candidate receives a Matching Score from 1 to 100, where higher scores indicate stronger alignment with your role requirements.

💡 Key Insight

Jobref applies the same automatic evaluation process to every candidate—whether they're referred internally or apply through traditional channels. This ensures consistent, unbiased screening across your entire talent pipeline.

Locating candidate scores

Navigate to your vacancy's Candidates tab to access the evaluation dashboard. Each candidate name displays alongside a color-coded gauge showing their Matching Score

⚠️ Best Practice

While Matching Scores provide valuable initial screening insights, they should complement—not replace—your comprehensive evaluation process. Use scores as a starting point to prioritize candidate reviews efficiently.

This automated pre-screening ensures that by the time you review referred candidates, they've already passed through a standardized evaluation framework, saving you time while maintaining hiring quality standards.
